About the Founder
Michael Pletan
I’m Michael Pletan, the founder of DropJob. As a student at the University of Tennessee, I understand how tough it can be to find work that fits into a hectic college schedule. That’s why I created DropJob—to connect students with their communities in a way that benefits everyone.
I started DropJob in Knoxville, inspired by a real life experience and my time as a UTK student balancing academics, work, and life. I wanted to create a platform that offers flexibility and fosters a sense of community. DropJob is built to connect trustworthy, hardworking students with local residents who need help, ensuring a win-win for everyone.
